Well, I was going to do some venting in my first blog ever. Things have changed though, thanks to FriedOkra and Megan@sortacrunchy. God put their blogs in my path before I had chance to go off on someone. There is not much to say now. How about I give you the details of my conundrum and you can give me advice as to how to proceed with said someone?
I am the secretary of my HOA. The treasurer thinks she runs the show and is always telling me how to be the secretary. The last newsletter I wrote, she re-wrote it because she thought it was too threatening. I am not just talking a little re-writing. I am talking about completely-she even left out some things I thought were important. Yesterday I e-mailed my resignation to her and the president of the HOA. Today he calls me and wants me to re-consider my decision. The three of us are meeting on Sat. to talk. I just don't think I can take it any more. Now I have to mull this over in my mind until Sat. I feel like we are getting no where with the HOA the way things are now. I want to make changes, but she thinks I don't know what I am talking about. Let me say that not one of us has any HOA Board experience, we are a brand new subdivision that was just turned over by the builder and there is NO management co. involved. She thinks we don't need one and I do. We are inexperienced and no one volunteers to help us out. The covenants are not being enforced, except for the occasional complaint by one resident about another. What should I do? Please help!!!!!!! Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Dear Jesus Freak65,
I think you should be brudally honnest with everyone on the commity. Nothing is going to happen if you don't say anything. I know you want something to happen. Take a stand. Don't let them put you down. That would be my advice to you.
